Billing Compliance Coordinator

Walters Balido & Crain, a mid-sized Texas-based civil litigation and insurance defense firm, is seeking to hire a full-time Billing Compliance Coordinator for its Dallas office. The role focuses on appealing reductions taken on invoices and requires a background in litigation. The candidate will work closely with the Billing Department to resolve billing issues and ensure compliance with client guidelines.

Responsibilities

Appeal reductions taken in a timely manner by reviewing deductions, communicating with timekeepers, and researching documents requested

Collaborate with the Billing Department to assist in resolving any billing issues

Assist the Billing Department in editing prebills, including analyzing same to ensure compliance with client guidelines

Assist Billing Department with updating electronic billing sites / adding timekeepers / rates / budgets, etc

Assisting billing/accounting team as necessary

Performing other duties as assigned by Billing Manager
