Nonprofit Project Manager, Research & Education Collaborative
Kindbridge Research Institute (KRI) is pioneering work in gambling-related mental health and seeks a Project Manager for the Research and Education Collaborative (REC). This role involves transforming research into real-world solutions, managing daily operations, and fostering partnerships to address health equity in communities affected by structural inequities.

Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day coordination of the REC initiative, ensuring alignment with the OPGS Data to Action Framework
Manage REC committees, including scheduling, communication, materials, and follow-up
Oversee the Department of Public Health documentation, reporting, billing, and compliance requirements
Organize and track program deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder responsibilities
Engage higher education partners, healthcare systems, nonprofits, and state agencies to strengthen cross-sector engagement and collaboration
Proactively follow up with partners to keep projects moving forward
Prepare program updates and reports for leadership, state partners, and funders
Report to the Director of Programming and communicate progress, challenges, and needs
Manage a small team of administrators and research analysts
Identify risks, propose solutions, and drive project success with strong organization and problem-solving
Stay up to date on best practices in behavioral health, gambling harm, and prevention programming, and bring new ideas forward
Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive work environment built on professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, business administration, nonprofit administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience managing programs or projects, ideally in nonprofit, government, healthcare, research, or academic environments
Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder committees, grant-funded programs, or public health initiatives
Strong skills in documentation, reporting, and communicating with state agencies
Familiarity with behavioral health, addiction, social determinants of health, or public health surveillance
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to work independently and collaboratively
Comfort navigating ambiguity with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred
Massachusetts DPH experience is a plus
Knowledge of gambling-related issues is a bonus
Familiarity with public health, mental health, or gambling-related issues a plus
