Structural Engineering Intern (Buildings) - Summer 2026

They are currently seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support the Buildings Engineering Group in their Dallas, TX office, where the intern will collaborate with and be mentored by top Engineering associates on a variety of projects in different market sectors.

Responsibilities

Perform routine calculations requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
Prepare and revise construction documents including plans and details
Collect and prepare data for evaluation
Perform engineering with the use of computer-assisted engineering software
Provide support to engineering and project management associates

Required

Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related specialization from an ABET-accredited program
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic aligning with the company's mission and core values

Preferred

3.0 GPA or above
Prior internship or related experience
AutoCAD and/or Revit experience
Experience or exposure to building plans preparation and design standards
Specific interest Structural Engineering and Building Design
