Responsibilities

Help senior traders manage all market risk on us books by capturing all trades in a timely manner
Provide accurate pricings for all products within area of responsibility as well as backup across the GED trading team as required
Supply feedback to the financial engineering team to expand and improve the EQD model suite and risk management capabilities
Ensure all risks are correctly reflected in risk monitor & compare topline risks to the approved limits outlined in the desk’s lcs
Adhere to the desk’s approved volcker operating plan
Assist the EDT team in testing new model enhancements to help reduce model risk post implementation
Analyze & summarize equity vol market activity as requested by sales & by senior management
Update VOLS, DIVS & REPOS for all US underliers
Maintain correlation marks using approved tools
Liaise with internal support groups on all operational matters related to the GED trading books
Adhere to day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the operational risk management framework, regulatory compliance risk management framework, AML/ATF global handbook and the guidelines for business conduct
Ask insightful questions to continually learn about market dynamics, pricing procedures & client relationships

Required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Engineering or a related field
four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
working with Equity Derivatives and risks associated with products including, Volatility, Spot, Dividends, Repo Interest Rates, Foreign Exchange, and how to manage their risk
employing financial engineering and modeling skills
utilizing programming including VBA and Python
performing statistical and numerical analysis on financial data
leveraging theoretical probability knowledge to analyze research papers
FINRA SIE required
FINRA Series 7 required
FINRA Series 63 required
