Responsibilities
Conducting cybersecurity assessments
Security design engineering
Threat monitoring
Implement countermeasures
Detect threats
Maintain the overall cybersecurity posture of systems
Oversee onsite security assessments
Work cross-functionally with government stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with cyber physical systems, such as critical infrastructure, space mission systems, or weapons systems platforms
Experience supporting technical reviews, working groups, and documentation development for high-visibility defense programs
Knowledge of cyber test planning, execution, and reporting, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and cyber resilience evaluations
Knowledge of systems engineering processes, such as SRR, PDR, CDR, or TRR, and integrating cybersecurity requirements, controls, and risk assessments throughout the system lifecycle
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
IAT II certification, such as CompTIA or ISC2 certification
Preferred
Experience with Zero Trust architecture principles, frameworks, and implementation within complex weapon or mission system environments
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master's degree
IAT III certification, such as CISA, CISSP, or CASP certification
