Responsibilities

Address performance gaps as well as improvement opportunities and work with strategic suppliers to define action plans and tracking mechanism for achieving the desired performance levels

Applying best-in-class strategies and advising on strategic direction to maximize value in support of business objectives

Collaborate with functional leaders on strategic supplier selection and on-boarding

Lead supplier site audits/coordinate site audits with cross-functional team to determine strategic fit

Development of strategic supplier selection criteria based on site audits, supplier price, quality, delivery, lean, certifications, and compliance with governmental procurement regulations

Manage and report small business requirements for the division

Utilizes lean manufacturing, error proofing and continuous improvement initiatives to support the supplier base by assisting in development of robust processes that assures quality products and services
