Manager, Inside Sales

They are seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead and develop their Internal Sales organization, driving revenue growth and ensuring timely support while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop Inside Sales Representatives, Application Engineers, and Order Entry personnel
Manage daily inside sales operations including quoting, order entry, customer communication, and pipeline support
Support Sales Managers and Outside Sales with timely information, documentation, and technical guidance
Ensure accurate processing of equipment orders and coordination of system project requirements
Drive continuous improvement across cross-functional workflows to improve efficiency and responsiveness
Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and high-performance within the team
Partner with engineering, project management and customer service to ensure seamless handoffs for integrated system solutions
Collaborate with marketing, product management and finance to support pricing, forecasting, and promotional initiatives
Communicate effectively across all departments to support decisions that benefit the organization holistically

Required

Experience leading teams of (6+) inside sales professionals in an industrial B2B environment for (2+) years (with manufacturing capital equipment preferred)
Proven experience in inside sales leadership within a technical, engineered products, or manufacturing environment
Strong sense of urgency combined with a commitment to accuracy and detail
Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Practiced knowledge of full Microsoft suite, salesforce or similar CRM, SAP, Oracle CPQ, etc
Must be adaptable and able to effectively manage in a dynamic environment

Preferred

AutoCAD experience a plus
Marketing and/or lead generation experience a plus
