Responsibilities
Enhance and maintain internal financial reporting database applications for life insurance
Implement and improve processes for new and existing products, ensuring successful data warehouse operations
Automate reporting requirements and create control processes for efficient data management
Collaborate with business, finance, and technology teams to translate complex requirements into programming solutions
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Oracle database applications
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Oracle (11g/19c) including SQL, PL/SQL, SQL•Plus, and SQL•Loader
Experience with Linux OS, including shell scripting
Strong skills in TOAD for database management
Advanced Excel capabilities, including VLookup and macros
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
Preferred
Familiarity with scheduling tools like ESP/Stonebranch UAC
Knowledge of MS-Access and Python
Understanding of life insurance products and business processes
Ability to manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency and adaptability
