Responsibilities
Assemble, install, and maintain custom camera systems and related imaging hardware using specialized tools and proprietary software
Provide technical support to troubleshoot issues and engineer solutions for imaging systems. Communicate with stakeholders to define and isolate issues and deliver technical solutions
Document bugs, solutions, and updates to technical documentation
Diagnose and repair system issues and replace critical system components in the field
Create diagnostic tools and processes
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Support teams to continuously improve tools, and procedures
Provide training and guidance to team members and technical staff
Utilize CAD software and other modeling tools to develop and improve mechanical components and communicate conceptual designs to stakeholders
Work from the main office during non-travel weeks during regular business hours
Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, often on short notice
Qualification
Required

Two-year or four-year degree in a technical or engineering discipline (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science), or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Working knowledge of network configuration, troubleshooting, and hardware setup
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and documenting field activities
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, high-quality work in both routine and high-pressure environments
High degree of adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving landscape with developing procedures
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and work in constrained or confined spaces
Preferred
Familiarity with the principles of digital photography and hands-on experience with digital imaging systems
Mechanical aptitude and experience assembling optical, electronic, or mechanical components
Previous experience in aerial imaging, aviation systems integration, or aircraft maintenance
Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
Experience with remote monitoring tools, camera calibration, or field data acquisition systems is a plus
