They are seeking an Associate for their Fund Accounting team, responsible for preparing and reviewing accounting statements, collaborating with auditors, and ensuring financial reports meet regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Prepares and reviews accounting statements on behalf of clients
Assists in working with auditors and clients to ensure statements are accurately produced and verified on a timely basis
Reviews fund balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and statement of shareholders equity to ensure reported numbers are reconciled
Drafts accounting statements and reports, incorporating fund calculations, for clients to review fund performance
Ensures completeness and accuracy of disclosure and that financial reports meet Corporate and applicable regulatory standards
Assists in collaborating with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance
Assists in developing materials for presentation to Board of Directors
Escalates more complex accounting discrepancies to senior team members
Provides guidance to less experienced team members and may have people management responsibilities in some geographies
Contributes to the achievement of team objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to collaborate effectively with auditors, clients, and internal teams

Preferred

3-5 years of total work experience preferred
Experience in accounting preferred
People leadership experience (if applicable) or willingness to provide guidance to junior team members
