Responsibilities
Drive Continuous Improvement through planning and leading Kaizen events
Development and Implementation of 5S program
Determining manufacturing equipment needs
Conducting root cause and corrective action for manufacturing non-conformance
Support plant operations as necessary to ensure KPI’s are met
Capital expenditure project development and implementation
CNC equipment programming
Write work instructions, standard work, and process flows
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering
3-5 years' work experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Engineering
Proficiency in CAD / CAM software and AutoCAD / SolidWorks
Experience in 5S implementation
Kaizen leadership experience
Fabrication and Assembly experience
Value Stream mapping experience
Mechanical Assembly experience
Ability to work effectively in a production environment
Ability to review blueprints and quality documentation
Proficiency in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
Lifting up to 75 lbs
Ability to travel 10%
Preferred
Experience with Quality Management Systems
