Responsibilities

Serves as a primary subject matter expert for the consumer customer, products, and experience
Continuously evaluates the consumer banking market dynamics, trends, risks, and opportunities
Understands the competitive environment including capabilities, positioning, strengths, and weaknesses
Actively manages select consumer products including deposit products emphasizing growth optimization, product development and commercialization
Develops and maintains customer profiles and personas to inform strategic product decisions
Defines product strategies including product promotion and positioning to drive growth through customer acquisition and relationship depth programs
Maintains product roadmap and backlog informed by voice of customer and voice of sales input
Recommends product enhancements / new products and creates business case justification
Determines pricing strategy to ensure growth and financial objectives are achieved
Seeks to collaborate with internal partners including consumer leadership, training, financial center staff, operations, marketing, and risk management
Strategizes with sales partners to develop sales campaigns and product growth initiatives
Engages partners including vendors to coordinates the resolution of product related issues
Develops bank employee or customer training materials for products managed
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct

Required

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management within the digital / consumer segment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related area desired
Deep and current knowledge of consumer segments, depository and payment needs along with common product solutions
Demonstrated experience developing programs to drive customer acquisition and relationship depth
Willing to take ownership of both issues and opportunities ensuring an optimal customer experience
Goal-oriented strategic thinker with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes
Naturally curious with a customer centric approach to solutioning problems
Comfortable making decisions utilizing a combination of data and business acumen
Operates within Univest's risk appetite and avoids risks that we cannot understand or mitigate
PC experience, specifically in Excel, Word, and Outlook desired
