Responsibilities
Provides activities in accordance with recreational curriculum
Provides an assortment of leisure activities related to assigned program
Assists patients in developing an understanding of benefits of ongoing health and fitness
Assists patient to improve social interaction
Works with treatment team to develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs
Maintains recreational areas and equipment
Completes documentation accurately and timely
Maintains observation of patients and shares appropriate information with manager
Maintains a clean, sanitary, safe environment
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
One year of experience in program specialty
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, or related field
CTRS or CTRAC
CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications
One year in experience in program specialty in a healthcare environment
