Outbound Sales Executive [On-Site, Saint Paul, MN]

CodeWeavers is seeking an Outbound Sales Executive to enhance their sales team for B2B services. This role focuses on executing outbound sales strategies while collaborating with marketing to refine messaging and support the sales funnel effectively.

Responsibilities

Research, identify and build lists of ideal B2B customers for PortJump and ExecMode
Execute outbound campaigns via email, social, community and partner channels
Write and refine cold outreach that feels human and gets responses
Run structured follow-up sequences and keep outreach consistent week to week
Qualify leads using clear criteria
Support discovery: schedule calls, gather context, and prep notes
Maintain CRM hygiene: notes, next steps, stages, tags, and simple reporting
Spot new growth
Capture patterns from outbound conversations
Translate those patterns into specific marketing needs
Create clear content briefs for Marketing: what we need, who it’s for, where it fits in the funnel, and the deadline tied to sales goals
Prioritize marketing requests based on real pipeline impact and what will help deals move now
Turn wins into marketing materials
Keep track of follow-ups so yeses don’t slip away

Required

Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in outbound and cold contexts
Proven comfort with outbound sales: prospecting, cold emailing, lead gen, or similar
Turn customer pain points into effective messaging
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail so leads and requests do not get lost
Experience with CRMs or a clear record of learning tools fast
Persistence and resilience, with the ability to improve your approach over time
Ability to manage daily outreach goals while coordinating marketing asks
Interest in building a career in outbound or B2B software sales
Familiarity using macOS and/or Linux
A local address with the ability to work on-site in St. Paul

Preferred

Experience selling software or SaaS, especially to technical audiences
Comfort collaborating cross-functionally and giving clear creative direction
Passion for Free and Open-Source Software
