Responsibilities
Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance on architecture and implementation approaches
Design and implement scalable full-stack architecture patterns spanning frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure
Establish and document engineering standards, best practices, and coding conventions across the stack
Create technical documentation and architectural decision records
Stay current with industry trends and evaluate new technologies that could benefit our stack
Build sophisticated user interfaces using Angular and AG Grid for complex financial data visualization
Architect and develop Node.js backend services
Design and optimize database schemas and queries to support application performance
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code that serves as a model for the team
Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, RDS, and other services
Identify and drive performance optimizations across the entire application stack
Conduct thorough code reviews with constructive feedback to elevate code quality across the team
Collaborate with Product and Design to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions
Advocate for technical excellence across the team

Preferred
7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
Strong expertise in Angular or other modern front-end framework and TypeScript with a frontend lean
Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend services, APIs, and business logic
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.)
Solid understanding of database design
Proven track record of establishing technical standards and improving engineering practices
Proficiency with modern development tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and drive technical initiatives from concept to completion
Excellence in writing clean, performant, maintainable code across the full stack
Strong communication skills with ability to document technical decisions and mentor peers
Experience in SaaS or B2B product development is a plus
