Senior Civil CAD Designer

Responsibilities
Performs Computer Aided Drafting by use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
Develops designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, specification sheets, engineering directives, and other data, according to client specifications or needs
Submits documentation packages and produce drawing sets and standard operating procedures
Assures the maintenance of drawing files for active projects
Responsible for staying current with the latest developments in CAD
Handles multiple concurrent projects
Ability to work as part of a team
Qualification
Required
Education: Two-year associate degree or technical school degree or greater
Experience: 7 years in civil-related drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including alignments, profiles, surfaces, assemblies, corridors, and earthwork quantity calculations
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sketch-Up, and other related software; strong written and oral communication skills
Attributes: Ability to work independently, self-motivated, willing to learn, and committed to being an active participant in an employee-owned culture
