Responsibilities

Travel to project sites across Texas and New Mexico to oversee QC operations
Review structural drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings for accuracy
Conduct pre-pour inspections, formwork checks, rebar verification, and concrete placement monitoring
Document QC activities including inspections, testing, corrective actions, and compliance reports
Work closely with engineers, inspectors, and field teams to address and resolve quality issues
Verify materials, layout, forming, and rebar installation against project requirements
Maintain QC records, logs, and reporting in alignment with company and industry standards
Provide guidance to field crews on proper installation techniques and quality expectations
Identify rework risks early and ensure issues are corrected before impacting schedule or cost
Promote a culture of quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across all project teams

Required

5+ years of quality control or field supervision experience with commercial structural concrete
Strong understanding of rebar, formwork systems, mix designs, concrete placement, and finishing
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and engineering details
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Experience collaborating with engineers, inspectors, and construction teams
Willingness to travel regularly throughout Texas and New Mexico

Preferred

Experience working for a concrete subcontractor strongly preferred
Familiarity with tilt-wall construction is a plus
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
