Communicate effectively with all patient populations to gather accurate medication histories
Communicate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, family members and others outside the hospital to gather further medication history information
Demonstrate professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills in all communications with patients, team members and other health care providers
Accurately document patients’ medication histories in the medical chart
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
Attends department meetings, facility in-services, and special corporate events and/or meetings
Assumes the responsibility for professional growth and development
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must be currently registered with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy, renewed every two years
Two (2) years of experience as a licensed pharmacy technician
Communicate effectively with all patient populations to gather accurate medication histories
Communicate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, family members and others outside the hospital to gather further medication history information
Demonstrate professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills in all communications with patients, team members and other health care providers
