Responsibilities
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on product goals and delivery
Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and technical feasibility
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and UX teams to define clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
Translate strategic objectives into detailed product roadmaps and execution plans
Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
Provide thought leadership and mentorship to junior POs and team members
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a technical environment
At least 2+ years of consulting industry experience, with strong relationship management, and account management experience
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
Proven ability to work in lab or innovation-focused environments, driving rapid prototyping and iterative development
Comfortable working with technical documentation, APIs, data models, and system architecture
Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality products
Strong collaboration and engagement skills with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Product Management, UX Design, and Testing; proficient in creating detailed requirements, user stories, and user acceptance criteria (UAC)
Excellent written skills with verbal communication experience and solid presentation skills who is highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality products
Ability to define high-level business objectives and drive product roadmaps
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
Experience in agile and scrum development organizations
Preferred
Certification - Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) is a plus
Experience in the payer space or healthcare domain
Exposure to AI/ML technologies, data platforms, or intelligent automation
Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
