Responsibilities
Support the execution of advanced development and research program as a System Engineer/Analyst to work Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for a complex Systems of Systems (SoS) program office
Work with the Lead ICD system engineers responsible for conducting, monitoring, directing and coordinating development of various ICDs and other interface documentation between subsystems, systems, and SoSs
Direct and participate in the preparation of ICDs, documentation, schedules, briefings, and milestones necessary for overall planning and execution
Coordinate and lead Interface Control Working Groups (ICWGs) as assigned
Develop, review, evaluate, and make recommendations concerning acquisition documents, milestones, and other program matters
Participate in TIMs, TEMs, working groups, meetings both within LRNFO and with external organizations to ensure understanding of and track interface documentation across the SoSs
Participate in and provide recommendations to testing and modeling/simulation activities with respect to interfaces
Observe tests and review test results to determine adequacy of ICD and recommend corrective action to eliminate deficiencies
Qualification
Required
A final DoD Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience with DoD military platforms
Preferred
Candidate should have demonstrated good oral and written communication skills
Candidate should be proficient in all Microsoft Office and Adobe products
Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment
