Senior Specialist, Technical Quality, Reliability

Responsibilities
Supporting Scout’s definition of quality and process requirements as the Voice of the Customer
Driving project activities to ensure the best performance for Quality KPI’s, such as warranty, customer satisfaction scores, and internal audits
Creation, participation and active management of reliability validation, including cross-functional collaboration
Evaluating early project requests for impact to Quality Assurance to ensure a flawless launch at Scout
Evaluating project change requests for cost, quality and timing
Supporting development of engineering solutions and launch issues while protecting full volume manufacturability
Keeping an ongoing list of project strengths and weaknesses for future improvement
Technical understanding of current vehicle status to drive design for manufacturability and repairability
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in a engineering related field
10 years of relevant experience in applying qualitative analysis to drive reliability execution, preferably in OEM environment
Strong background in interpreting voice of the customer data (such as JD Power IQS) to help set technical requirements and set-up validation plan
Extensive knowledge and experience, including setting up reliability validation, root causing issues and working cross-functionally to countermeasure customer facing issues
Excellent problem-solver with a strong quality and customer-focused mindset
Communication skills (interpersonal, presentation and writing) to articulate customer requirements and impact across hierarchy and functional levels (e.g., Director and Vice President Level)
Ability to identify tasks, develop methodologies and plans, and execute with minimal supervision; own assignments to ensure the project success
Strong leadership skills, able to effectively interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Proven ability to handle multiple assignments with competing priorities
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, approximately 20-30 % of the time
Valid driver's license required
