Law Practice
Responsibilities
Turn complex fact patterns into clean, execution-ready documents (marital deduction, GST, irrevocable gifting, funding memos)
Deliver reliably: first draft within agreed scope of services; minimal rework; airtight checklists completed
Elevate quality: catch issues before they exist; propose smarter structures; improve templates over time
Draft/review: core estate planning documents (W/Trusts, ILITs, GST planning), funding instructions, occasional admin docs on the settlement side
Collaborate with our lead attorney + EP paralegal through our client management system. You won’t attend client signings
Qualification
Required
Active Illinois license (good standing)
3–5+ years focused on semi-complex estate planning (e.g. marital deduction planning, generation-skipping planning, irrevocable gifting)
Obsessive about details, version control, and checklists
Preferred
Ag/entrepreneurial client familiarity
