Responsibilities
Build and ship AI product features with a focus on reliability, usability, and measurable impact
Design agentic workflows that transform written requirements into executable Java code; contribute Python components that orchestrate these steps end‑to‑end
Clean, curate, and document datasets; implement robust data pipelines and quality checks for repeatable experimentation
Evaluate and test model outputs (functional, performance, edge cases); create reproducible experiments and automated tests
Explore emerging AI tools (LLMs, vector databases, frameworks) and recommend practical upgrades to our stack
Develop Jupyter notebooks for prototyping, analysis, and communicating results to non‑technical stakeholders
Implement retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) patterns to ground models in trustworthy data
Use Git/GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development; contribute clear documentation
Partner with cloud and security teams to ensure solutions follow modern practices for privacy, accessibility, and compliance
Qualification
Required
College student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
Proficiency in Python (data wrangling, scripting); ability to learn Java as needed
Familiarity with AI/ML libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow) and core concepts (prompting, evaluation, inference)
Experience with Jupyter notebooks, data cleaning/curation, and basic SQL
Comfort testing AI results, analyzing failure modes, and writing clear documentation
Collaborative mindset, curiosity to learn, and ability to communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences
Preferred
Java development experience
Exposure to AWS or Google Cloud services (compute, storage, serverless, IAM)
Hands‑on with RAG applications (LangChain/LlamaIndex, embeddings, vector stores such as FAISS or Pinecone)
Familiarity with GitHub workflows (branches, pull requests, CI)
Experience building simple APIs (FastAPI/Flask) and containerizing workloads (Docker)
Understanding of model evaluation frameworks, accessibility best practices, and security‑first coding
