Responsibilities
Support dynamic, agile projects implementing a SecDevOps approach across all phases of the software development lifecycle, to include design, development, test, and operational support / user feedback
Work independently as well as within a team setting on the design, implementation, and maintenance/troubleshooting of new and existing software solutions
Effectively communicate with various team members, as well as communicate with vendor support
Leverage modern industry standard technologies in the engineered solutions and quickly and efficiently generate estimates and status of design efforts, including materials for use internally as well as externally with customers
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years (ideally 8 years) technical experience
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or engineering equivalent
Advance industry software development experience in Java and C/C++ programming (including network, multi-threaded, client-server programming where applicable) on Windows and Linux platforms
Batch File, Windows Script File, Unix Shell Scripting, Python Scripting
Basic understanding of relational database applications and creation of expressions using Structured Query Language (SQL)
Ability to design solutions to complex engineering problems
An active Secret security clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Preferred
Comprehension of SecDevOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Development with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMWare, Docker, and Kubernetes)
PL/SQL and Oracle database utilization with applications
Experience with agile development methodologies and management tools
Experience with Atlassian suite of CM tools or similar
General understanding of launch vehicle and satellite launch ascent, test, and on-orbit operational processes, practices, and procedures
