Network Engineer IV

As a Network Engineer IV, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of advanced enterprise network solutions, leading efforts in deploying and optimizing network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of network solution deployments
Perform hands-on configuration of network devices, cloud-based security platforms, and routing protocols to meet customer requirements and ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and resolve complex network issues during deployment, including connectivity, routing, and integration challenges across hybrid environments
Work closely with PMO and internal teams to align technical execution with project timelines and deliverables. Provide timely updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
Create and maintain detailed configuration records, implementation guides, and troubleshooting documentation for each customer environment
Conduct structured handoff sessions with Support teams, including walkthroughs of deployed environments, operational procedures, and Q&A to ensure smooth post-deployment management
Ensure all deployed solutions meet performance, security, and scalability standards before transitioning to steady-state operations
24/7 Availability when required, for escalation support, and site deployments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
9+ years of hands-on experience in the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support of routers, switches, and firewalls in large or enterprise network environments
CCNP, PCNSE, CCDP or equivalent
Expert knowledge of the configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Vendors such as: Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet, F5 Networks, Aruba
Expert knowledge of TCP/IP v4, VLANs, PVLANs, Layer 3 switching, ACLs, and Spanning Tree (MST/PVST)
Expertise in Cisco Routing and Switching technologies: CatOS, IOS, NX-OS, Nexus vPC, VDC, FabricPath, and FEX
Strong understanding of WAN and DMZ architectures
Proficiency in enterprise routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF
High-level troubleshooting skills in switching and routing
Experience using network analysis, performance monitoring, and bandwidth management tools
Expert knowledge of OCx, Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet / 10Gb Ethernet
Familiarity with cabling standards (Cat5e, Cat6, MM/SM/OM3 fiber) and transceivers (SFPs, GBICs, etc.)
Experience with implementation planning, test plan development, and Cisco design frameworks
Working knowledge of network and server bandwidth management technologies
Understanding of ITIL methodologies and enterprise change control processes
Strong initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
Scripting and network automation experience
Communication and customer skills
Preferred
CISSP
CCIE Written
CCIE or equivalent
NGFW & Network Security: Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, Cisco CCNP Security
SD-WAN & Routing: VMware VeloCloud VCP-NV, Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Palo Alto PCNSE-SDWAN
Cloud & SASE: AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Zscaler ZCCP
