Member Relations Representative, Automotive

AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a Member Relations Representative to join their Automotive Services team in Southeast Portland. The role involves providing administrative support and coordination of daily automotive operations, handling member service requests, and investigating member concerns while supporting the Automotive Services team with reporting and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support and coordination of daily automotive operations
Provide clerical and administrative support for the Club to achieve its goals
Provide contracted Emergency Road Service support in addition to member relations support for member service requests
Investigate member concerns and maintain record keeping
Provide reporting and administrative support to the Automotive Services team

Required

Customer service and administrative experience required
Ability to adjust style and approach to suit situations that involve rapidly changing tasks, shifting priorities, simultaneous demands or transitions into new assignments
Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict, relate positively to people in stressful situations, and remain calm under pressure
Ability to take initiative and address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
Ability to solve problems by assessing relevant information, drawing on past experiences and applying critical thinking to develop an appropriate solution
Able to make timely and sound decisions independently, understanding the impact and implications and providing feedback on outcomes
Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, motivating others to action, establishing rapport and gaining the trust of others
Basic computer literacy required
General geographical knowledge of Oregon and Idaho State and its road systems

Preferred

Some college education highly preferred
Salesforce experience a plus
Bilingual fluency of Spanish/English language is very helpful in this role
