They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join their General Ledger Accounting team, responsible for month-end close activities, enhancing internal controls, and driving operational excellence across a fast-growing global business.

Responsibilities
Take end-to-end ownership of monthly close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis across core areas such as key expense accruals, T&E and internally developed software
Strengthen and maintain accounting processes and internal controls with a focus on scalability and documentation
Partner with cross-functional teams and shared services to align on process execution and operational efficiency
Prepare high-quality, audit-ready documentation and support both internal and external audit requests
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve use of systems
Help develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures as the company grows
Support ad hoc projects and collaborate with the broader Accounting and Finance teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA a plus)
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally a mix of public and private/company-side
Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and documentation best practices
Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Familiarity with accounting systems like Netsuite, close tools (e.g. FloQast) and spend management systems (e.g., Ramp, Zip, Concur)
Preferred
Experience working with shared services or offshore teams
Exposure to multinational operations or intercompany accounting
Experience in a high-growth or tech-forward environment
Interest in or experience applying AI or automation tools to improve accounting workflows
