Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining operations
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models to determine machining strategies
Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds, and feed rates to maximize efficiency and accuracy
Work closely with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
Perform test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality output
Maintain organized documentation of programs, setup sheets, and operational instructions
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control guidelines
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining productivity and reduce waste
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, preferably with Mastercam software
Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models
Experience with various materials, including metals and plastics
Proficiency in 3-axis machining
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required
CNC programming: 2 years (Required)
Mastercam: 1 year (Required)
Preferred
Technical certification or degree in machining, manufacturing, or a related field
