Responsibilities
Secures a wide variety of event sponsorships, memberships and other programmatic gifts
Working proactively, the Manager advances donor relationships and funding requests from start to finish, ensuring timely follow-through and results
Effectively communicates about Clinic programs, capital projects, annual operations and other initiatives as developed by Clinic leadership as part of overall strategic priorities to advance health equity in our community
Manages an existing portfolio, while independently developing new leads, with a focus on membership level giving from individuals and sponsorships and programmatic support from corporations and foundation
Partners with colleagues who work on major gifts, direct mail, grants and events to develop coordinated strategies for approaching donors (individual, corporate and foundation)
Serves as an internal resource for the Clinic and as a visible representative of Venice Family Clinic with donors and other external individual, corporate and foundation partners
Qualification
Required
Experience in fundraising, particularly in securing event sponsorships, memberships, and programmatic gifts
Ability to manage donor relationships and funding requests from start to finish
Strong communication skills to effectively convey information about Clinic programs and initiatives
Experience in managing a portfolio of donors and developing new leads
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues on major gifts, direct mail, grants, and events
Experience serving as a representative of an organization with external partners
