Responsibilities

Create and release precision mechanical components and assemblies (e.g., characterization fixtures, validation structures) to support new product architectures
Develop robust design solutions for complex mechanical interfaces and integration challenges
Own and continuously improve the mechanical design pipeline, ensuring efficiency and scalability
Maintain and update design templates, standards, and documentation
Partner with electrical, optical, and process engineers to gather requirements and translate them into manufacturable designs
Support inspection, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical components during prototyping and validation phases
Perform minor Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and optimize designs
Contribute to brainstorming and feasibility studies for novel architectures
Ensure designs meet internal quality standards and customer specifications
Participate in IQA reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualification

Required

2-5 years of experience in mechanical design
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

Develop robust design solutions for complex mechanical interfaces and integration challenges
Own and continuously improve the mechanical design pipeline, ensuring efficiency and scalability
