Academic Program Coordinator - Clerkship Coordinator- Curriculum Support (REVISED)
The City University of New York is seeking an Academic Program Coordinator for the CUNY School of Medicine, located in Harlem, New York. The Clerkship Coordinator will coordinate Clinical Educational activities for third- and fourth-year MD students, providing essential administrative support and communication with various stakeholders involved in the Clerkship Program.

Responsibilities
Organize and maintain records for all clinical program activities; manage a database of M3 Students; prepare and post clerkship materials in academic management systems
Communicate with students, residents, and faculty to provide assistance with various issues including, general course support, LCMS access, clerkship location confirmation, evaluation process and other related concerns; assistance to be provided during and after the clerkship
Develop working relationships with the Clerkship Directors, Office of Medical Education, Office of Student Affairs, Registrar, and fellow Clerkship Coordinators
Download student logs of required patient experiences (from LCMS+) and record the number of patient encounters, online evaluations, attendance records and submit all materials to the Clerkship Director
Arrange meetings and facilitate communication between the Clerkship Director and students, residents, faculty and other Clinical Education staff including the end-of-Clerkship OSCE team in the Clinical Skills Course
Submit the Student Rotation List to the Evaluation Coordinator no later than one week before the end of each rotation
Coordinate seminars and reserve rooms and distribute course materials to Lecturers, Preceptors and Students
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
Two years' experience in medical education (preferably in a hospital setting) is highly desired
Extensive experience working with MS Excel, Google Sheets and Forms
Working knowledge of LCMS such as LEO, E-Medley, On-line Diagnosis Tracking System and Educational Evaluation System
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with faculty, staff, and students
Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of faculty and staff, both within and beyond CSOM
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and accurately complete tasks independently
