They are seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Provider for the Cardiac Surgery Stepdown unit, responsible for managing complex patients undergoing cardiac procedures and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

Perform daily assessments and managing the care of complex patients
Lead daily rounds and work in conjunction with Nursing, Case Management and Social Work to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital to home or rehabilitation
Collaborate with the surgical physician group to provide care to acutely ill patients undergoing coronary revascularization and other complex surgeries

Qualification

ACLSBLS/CPRPA-CCRNP licensurePrescriptive AuthorityMasters in Nursing Practice

Required

ACLS (For providers in the acute care setting) required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)S/CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association required
Pennsylvania PA-C or CRNP licensure required
Pennsylvania Prescriptive Authority required
Masters or Doctors of Nursing Practice required or Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies required
The identified Advanced Practice professional hire must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board
