They are seeking a Highway Engineering Intern to work on real projects in their McKinney, Texas office, where the intern will assist with various tasks to enhance their experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Enter data into systems

Make edits and updates to existing engineering drawings and projects in MicroStation with Power Geopak and OpenRoads Designer

Obtain design data from adjacent or similar projects and go-bys

Work with a team to coordinate new small-scale projects

Assemble data and research such as specific design standards and site information

Provide input on solutions to problems using basic theories and engineering fundamentals

Assist with layout and design of routine small and medium-sized engineering projects

Develop and prepare specifications

Maintain accurate and current project documentation

Participate in weekly seminars and end-of-internship presentation through the JMT Internship Program

Perform other related duties as assigned
