Sr. Controls Technician

Responsibilities
Demonstrated technical knowledge and hands-on skills across a wide range of technical equipment, including PLC’s, VFD’s, servos, and HMI’s
Experience with industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I, and others)
Understanding of safety circuits
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills demonstrated through the use of data and root cause analysis techniques, including competence in explaining to others
Ability to interpret electrical drawings for troubleshooting, design reviews, and system modifications
Ability to correctly use required tools (multi-meter, computer, wire striper, screwdriver, crimper, etc.)
Direct experience with AutoCAD or other CAD programs for modifying and printing electric schematics
Good communication skills with peers, leadership, and cross-functionally throughout the organization
Ability to be flexible and adapt to new tasks and projects in a dynamic and changing role
Naturally apply teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals with a broader team
Self-starter and motivated to complete tasks, with minimal supervision and oversight
No hesitancy to communicate at all levels across the organization
Direct and work with suppliers and contractors to complete work maintaining safety, GMP requirements, and high standards
Solid capability to use Microsoft Office programs, primarily: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Qualification
Required

High School Diploma, Technical degree or equivalent preferred
5+ years of experience as a controls engineer or highly functioning controls technician or electrician
