Responsibilities
API and UI Documentation: Author and maintain detailed reference and conceptual documentation for our payments platform, covering REST, gRPC, and FIX protocols, as well as web/application UIs
Docs-as-Code & Tooling: Maintain documentation using a docs-as-code workflow and Git for version control. Employ platforms like Redocly for API specification and documentation generation (OpenAPI/Swagger)
Scalability: Manage, optimize, and build out documentation tooling and automation to efficiently support our expanding product suite
Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Partner Engineers to gather technical information and set documentation standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years as a Technical Writer, documenting complex enterprise fintech or payments software
Deep experience documenting both API-level reference materials (including REST, gRPC, FIX, etc) and User Interface (UI) guides
Proficiency with a docs-as-code workflow, Git, and Redocly, and OpenAPI Specification tools
Preferred
Experience with cross-border payments, banking technology, or cryptocurrency/blockchain concepts is a strong advantage
Experience in programming or development (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a huge plus, enabling you to write and troubleshoot code examples and maintain tooling
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results efficiently in a timeline-driven environment
