New Grad, Entry LevelPlastpro, Inc. is focused on quality control for their products and accessories. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting components of doors during various stages and making decisions on product acceptance based on established standards.

Responsibilities
Perform line audits
Conduct 24 hour drop area inspections
Prepares written reports when necessary or as directed. Checks special orders and reads blue prints to determine if specifications have been complied with
Checks the quality of finished products for shipment and returned goods for acceptance to stock
Developing and maintaining company inspection reports
Inspecting Raw material or product according to quality and safety standards
Ensuring all Raw materials and products comply with company standards
Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly
Reporting / recording quality anomalies to the supervisor
Collating test data and drafting quality reports
Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes
Maintains good housekeeping at all times
Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Experience as an Inspection or quality technician
Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts
High-level of visual awareness
Advanced organizational skills
Experience drafting reports and collating data
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information
Ability to stand for long periods
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
