Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)(Onsite)
RTX is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team in Wichita Falls. In this role, you will manage a team of engineers, focus on process improvements, and implement CORE methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities
Plan and establish goals and objectives for the team with direct impact on operational results
Research and implement engineering solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency
Work with manufacturing to improve current/develop new processes to drive productivity and profitability. Provide technical directions to manufacturing
Identify equipment improvement opportunities with a focus on turn-around-time (TAT) and cost reduction opportunities
Own and execute technical and other assigned sections of the long-term strategy. Participate actively in the development of the site’s five-year strategy plan and take lead on technology application, key equipment upgrades and process improvement actions to support the plan
Act as the CORE lead for the site, coordinating CORE implementation at the site and working with the PWC team for consistency. Be the leader to strengthen the CORE program at the site
Develop and execute research and development initiatives through active participation in aftermarket technology council
Lead Global Trade compliance for the site
Mentor and develop engineering staff to improve employee engagement and retention
Promote EHS, Quality, and Product Safety to ensure compliance with EHS and PW rules
Develop and execute research and development initiatives through active participation in aftermarket technology council
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years' experience as a Process Engineer, Program Manager, or other manufacturing/aftermarket engineering role, OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum 7+ years' prior relevant experience
Preferred
Strong managerial background with proven leadership ability, effective communication and interpersonal skills, focus on lean manufacturing, and demonstrated deductive reasoning skills
Prior experience with CORE or other lean manufacturing operating system
Degree in aerospace engineering, materials science engineering, mechanical engineering or metallurgy is a plus
