Responsibilities
Perform the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting associated with a commercial real estate portfolio
Perform month-end close procedures and prepare financial statements
Assist in annual budget process
Perform bank reconciliations and cash management responsibilities
Prepare escalations, such as (CPI, Operating, Real Estate Tax, Fuel/Utilities)
Reconcile and bill CAM charges
Assist with review of commercial and retail leases
Interface with external auditors during year-end review
Assist with special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
BA in Accounting / Finance or relevant discipline
3+ years of experience with commercial property accounting required
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
Be able to multi-task and be a team player
Preferred
Proficiency with Yardi real estate accounting software
