Postdoctoral Research Associate - School of Public Health
Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for their School of Public Health. The role involves working on research projects at the intersection of environmental epidemiology, multi-omics, and maternal and child health, focusing on analyzing complex epidemiologic datasets and contributing to manuscript and grant proposal writing.

Responsibilities
Following instructions and discussions with the Principal Investigator, designs and executes research protocols for analysis of epidemiological data and large scale ‘omics data such as epigenomics, transcriptomics, miRNA, metabolomics, epigenetic aging
Analyzes data and writes interpretative reports. Verifies the correctness of the data and code. Organizes data and contributes to submission of code and datasets to approved archives
Documents research results and takes a leading role in preparing and submitting papers based on research work for publication and presentation at conferences
Assists with grant preparation and reporting as needed
Under supervision of Principal Investigator, assists with student mentoring including MPH and undergraduate students
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ph.D., M.D. Or Equivalent Terminal Or Doctoral Degree
Preferred
Doctorate degree in environmental or genetic epidemiology, environmental biostatistics or a related field
Solid proficiency in biostatistical and epidemiologic methods for environmental ‘omics and related software packages, including R, SAS, Python or equivalent
Previous experience analyzing large DNA methylation datasets, bioinformatics, and use of Bioconductor is desired
