Valve Engineer

Responsibilities
Review project engineering and sales packages to determine the scope of equipment Zeeco is to supply to our customers
Provide cost estimates for valves and other inline piping components to the Zeeco sales team
Reading the customer specifications and implementing those specifications as they apply to the 'AS SOLD' equipment
Develop relationships with valve suppliers worldwide to ensure compliance with customer specifications, testing, and on-time delivery
Develop ISA data sheets for the manual ball, gate, globe, and check valves, along with ISA data sheets for control valves, automated valves, dampers, and various other inline components
Work with the mechanical drafting team to ensure proper face-to-face dimensions and clearance is provided in the mechanical design
Perform inspection and testing of equipment prior to shipment from Zeeco's fabrication facility. Inspections and tests may be performed with the customer present
Occasional travel to assist the Zeeco sales group, visit other offices, or meet vendors. Travel includes both domestic and overseas destinations
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
