They are seeking an intern for the DEWS Customer Engagement Unit to assist with organizing virtual workshops, providing customer service support, and handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Support virtual workshops by assisting presenters, managing chat questions, posting relevant links, and ensuring sessions run smoothly

Schedule Zoom workshops and send Outlook invitations to moderators and presenters

Help maintain shared mailboxes, send follow-up emails, and respond to participant inquiries

Compile weekly attendance data and aid in creating monthly workshop calendars

Prepare workshop materials and reports with accuracy and timeliness

Assist in developing and updating communication templates and workshop documentation

Contribute to special projects and employment initiatives as assigned

Required

Be 18 years of age or older

Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State

Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program), or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program

Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent
