Virginia Farm Bureau is seeking a customer focused Virtual Auto Claims Representative (VACR) to join their claims team. The role involves preparing automotive repair estimates and settling total loss vehicles using provided photos and company-approved means, while ensuring compliance with company and industry procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare virtual repair and total loss appraisals through the use of photos and other company approved means in accordance with company and industry procedures

Authorize supplemental repairs and/or payments as needed

Process physical damage payments following the company standard operation procedure

Settle total loss vehicles, move salvage within time limits established for this procedure

Negotiate auto claim losses with insured, claimant and vendors

Assist subrogation and SIU with cases that require physical damage knowledge

Maintain high degree of training (learn new auto repair techniques)

All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Manager
