Associate Tool & Gage Technician

The Associate Tool and Gage Technician will be responsible for calibrating and adjusting gages, managing electronic inventory records, and maintaining accurate calibration records for all gages.

Responsibilities

Ability to use gage blocks, horizontal trimos, and other gage setting devices
Manage the receiving, storing, handling, issuing, and distribution of perishable tooling, fixtures, gages, shop supplies, and safety items (PPE)
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment, engaging with both internal and external associates
Frequent heavy lifting and prolonged standing

Qualification

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen
High School Diploma or equivalent
Reliable Transportation
Customer Service Oriented
Ability to work some overtime and occasional weekends

Preferred

Knowledge with SAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Compounds: paint, chemicals, etc
Proficiency in gage setting, perishable cutting tools, grinding wheels, fixtures, and abrasive products
Forklift certification or capability to acquire one
