Administrative Coordinator for Student Accessibility Services

William & Mary Libraries is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for Student Accessibility Services to ensure the smooth daily operations of the department. This role involves providing front-line support to students and faculty, managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating accommodations for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Providing exceptional front-line service by welcoming and assisting students, faculty, and visitors
Managing a high volume of inquiries via phone and email, and effectively triaging walk-in traffic
Scheduling all student appointments
Managing the processing and distribution of accommodation letters
Coordinating key accommodations, including alternative format textbooks, assistive technology, and sign language interpreters
Supporting a wide range of administrative functions and special projects assigned by the Director

Required

High School graduate or equivalent
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Experience with office tasks and general administrative functions (i.e., generating reports, setting up appointments, screening phone calls, making travel arrangements, and/or similar duties.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Associates degree or bachelor's degree preferred
Significant experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience using a variety of software systems
Demonstrated ability to identify and respond promptly to sensitive situations
Demonstrated ability to respond to concerns, including identifying and applying applicable policies and procedures
Experience with databases, record-keeping, and automated financial systems
