Responsibilities

Perform calibration and certification of advanced RF electronic measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications, ensuring traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Calibrate and repair equipment such as Multimeters, data acquisition systems, data loggers, frequency counter, timers, oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Attenuators, directional couplers, Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, Waveform Generators, Power Meters, Power Sensors, directional couplers, etc
Calibrate electrical standards used in calibrations and maintain equipment to established performance standards
Record maintenance activities in CMS, generate reports on results of tests, conditions of equipment and/or systems, repairs, and preventive maintenance performed, and prepare necessary documentation as required by customer and regulatory requirements
Utilize common laboratory measuring, calibrating, and test equipment
Validate, modify and create calibration procedures from specifications and requirements
Interpret and create uncertainty budget in accordance with ISO 17025:2017
Complete all other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma with 10+ years of experience in the field, OR associate's degree in engineering technology or a relevant field with 6 years of experience
Working knowledge of one or more of the following Low DC voltages, current, resistance, capacitance, RF time, frequency & power, time domain reflectance, signal conditioning, etc
Ability to interpret, create and modify Measurement Uncertainty Budgets in accordance with ISO17025:2107
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Excel
Ability to travel to client locations to perform onsite service up to 75%

Preferred

Military/PMEL trained
Experience with IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, and Met/Cal systems
Familiarity with laboratory measurement and calibration equipment
Metrology Standard Lab Experience
