Freight Analyst
Waldom Electronics is a leading master distributor in the global electronics supply chain. The Freight Analyst is responsible for optimizing transportation spend, analyzing freight performance, and ensuring accuracy in freight billing while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across various departments.

Responsibilities
Analyze freight costs, carrier invoices, surcharges, and accessorial fees across parcel, LTL, FTL, and international modes
Develop tools, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor freight spend and performance
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actionable improvements
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Review freight invoices for accuracy against contracted rates
Dispute incorrect charges and coordinate credits
Partner with Finance for accurate freight allocation
Maintain documentation for freight audits and compliance
Support negotiation preparation via rate comparisons and performance analysis
Monitor on-time delivery and service failures
Partner with operations to resolve carrier issues
Improve cartonization, DIM weight management, and shipment consolidation
Support FTZ-related freight tracking
Participate in CI projects aligned with CultureWise fundamentals
Assist Customer Service and Sales with freight quotations
Use ERP, TMS, and BI platforms to analyze freight data
Maintain freight tables, zones, and routing data
Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field
2+ years freight or logistics experience
Strong analytical and Excel/Sheets skills
Experience with parcel and LTL carriers
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred
Distribution or electronics experience
Familiarity with TMS, BI tools, and ERP systems
Knowledge of FTZ operations and trade compliance
Continuous improvement or Lean background
