Responsibilities

Project Manager for multiple projects related to facilities or other mechanical engineering related projects
Responsible for project delivery and technical quality associated with each project
Assigns tasks to engineers, technicians, or administrative staff
Plans and coordinates all aspects of work and performs analysis and design
Prepares scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments
Assists with proposals to provide professional services

Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Mechanical Professional Engineering license is required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
A minimum of 8 years' experience in the design and/or construction of mechanical and plumbing systems
A working knowledge of International Building Code (IBC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and applicability to public facilities
Proficient with computers applications, Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
A strong commitment to safety, quality assurance/ quality control and risk management
Strong technical experience in the design and/or construction of mechanical and plumbing systems
An ability to work within a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

A master's degree in a related field
Experience with MBTA policies and procedures related to safety and access requirements
Experience with MassDOT, MBTA or NAVFAC facilities is a plus
