Responsibilities
Assist the tax team in gathering, organizing, and reviewing client documents
Input financial data and prepare workpapers for individual and business tax returns
Support the preparation of basic tax returns under supervision
Communicate with clients to request missing information or clarify details
Help implement firm processes such as electronic filing, tax document management, and client onboarding
Participate in training and professional development to prepare for advancement
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent communication skills — professional, clear, and client-friendly
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, or similar tools
Desire to grow into a Tax Preparer role through mentorship and hands-on learning
Preferred
1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support
Experience with tax or accounting software is a plus (e.g., Drake, Lacerte, or QuickBooks)
