The Analyst will support the protection of enterprise systems and networks, monitor security tools, and collaborate with IT and OT teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

Monitor security tools and dashboards for threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity

Support daily security operations across network, endpoint, and cloud environments

Assist with the administration of firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and endpoint protection systems

Create and maintain security alerts, reports, and dashboards for operational visibility and compliance

Investigate and respond to security incidents with guidance from senior team members

Perform basic vulnerability scans and track remediation activities

Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and documentation efforts

Collaborate with IT and OT staff to incorporate security into projects and system changes

Support company-wide security awareness initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

2+ years of IT security experience or related IT operations role with security exposure

Hands-on familiarity with network and endpoint security technologies

Experience using security monitoring, logging, or reporting platforms

Knowledge of fundamental security practices in networks, cloud, and endpoints

Awareness of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)

Preferred

Entry-level or associate-level security or network certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security)

Additional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus but not required
