Responsibilities
Train production associates on work instructions, tooling, and best practices for their assigned workstations
Fully document quality defects found on the line using SAP ME and Jira
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on production processes, issue resolution, RCA, and recommend process improvement feedback to manufacturing engineering
Serve as the first point of escalation for the production technician team
Generate reports for the area of responsibility, including downtime, throughput, and non-conformance at stations
Monitor performance trends for production KPIs and develop action plans as needed
Understand the operation of the automated manufacturing line, work with the controls engineer to troubleshoot and clear line faults
Utilize SAP ME to log non-conformances
Leverage the strengths and weaknesses of each technician to ensure the production line is balanced to meet daily production goals
Fill in on the line when staff is absent
Provide SAP ME support, including work order release to the line, investigating inventory discrepancies, and non-conformance reporting and resolution in SAP ME
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 years of Automated Manufacturing experience
Experience using a Manufacturing Execution System (SAPMES, Smart Factory, Oracle)
High school diploma or GED required
Proven ability to train, mentor, and lead team members
Proficiency in Google Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle pressure and manage competing demands effectively
Preferred
Associate's degree or higher preferred
4-6 years of manufacturing experience with electro-mechanical assembly
Experience in hardware assembly
Experience in hardware testing
